How much does home watch cost in Sun City Grand and Surprise?

Spare Key home watch costs $1,494, $2,994 or $4,794 a year. That's $249, $499 or $799 for each month you're away, and the months you're home are included. Full home watch visits that go inside and check the appliances, plumbing and AC commonly run about $65 to $100 or more each (The Sure Home).

Why a yearly membership instead of a per-visit price?
Most snowbirds need help twice a year: while the house sits empty, and when they come back. So we price it as one membership. You pay for the months you're away, and while you're home you get an arrival walkthrough, priority help, and on Full Care and Concierge, help hours every month. Pay for summer, winter's on us.
What changes the price of home watch
- How often: weekly costs more than every 2 weeks.
- What you get back: a checked box, a written report, photos of every area, or video.
- What's inside the visit: running water, checking the AC and fridge, a thermal camera and moisture meter, the car and golf cart.
- Storms and emergencies: some companies charge for every extra trip.

Our answers: yes, 11 areas every visit; same-day report; a local owner with an Arizona fingerprint clearance card; a written damage playbook; storm visits included on Full Care and Concierge; and if we miss a scheduled visit or send a late report, that month is free.
Add-ons
- Departure Close-Up: get the house summer-ready before you leave. $149 on its own, included with every membership.
- Extra help hours: $50 an hour.
- Emergency visit or meeting a repair pro or adjuster: $50 an hour, $75 nights and Sundays. Included with Concierge.
